Norwich City Council and a variety of Norwich-based organisation have designed LUMi, a platform to help people become more involved in community life. 

The Prevention Concordat and its 10 supporting resources form part of an agreement to encourage cross sector work to carry out prevention focused work for improving mental health.

Some villages have community resilience plans, which often use their village hall as a "muster point" in emergencies, or even for emergency shelter.  It is good practice to consider developing a plan even if you think your community is not likely to be at risk from events such as flooding. 

The Charity Commission have published a new safeguarding strategy which stresses that safeguarding should be a priority for all charities, not just those working those who are vulnerable or at risk.
