House of Lords recommends a new approach to the rural economy

Successive governments have underrated the contribution the rural economy can make to the nation’s prosperity and wellbeing, according to a major new report from the House of Lords.

Fast broadband needed? There’s a 21st century answer right here in Norfolk

Around 92% of locations across Norfolk can receive fast broadband. That’s around 24 Mbps. And Better Broadband for Norfolk is working hard to increase that figure. Tackling fuel poverty, and what is available to help you

Community Action Norfolk has been busy delivering training in tacking fuel poverty to front-line staff across the county. 

Funding: Architectural Heritage Fund Mortgage Scheme - No deadline

Mortgage style loans of £150,000 - £500,000 over 10 – 20 years are available to assist registered charities and not for profit organisations acquire buildings or working capital for restoration projects.
