Has your community or voluntary group reduced its carbon footprint? Tell us about it! We’d like to know.

One of the finest examples in Norfolk of a comprehensive approach to reducing carbon footprint is Wereham Village Hall, where CAN helped an energetic, enthusiastic and committed team of local residents achieve their goal of a new village hall, created with the best possible environmental considerations in mind.

Tell us your story. It might not be a whole new build but if you’ve installed efficient heating systems, double glazing, switched energy supplier, perhaps reduced travel and transport to and from your organisation’s base, or set up a recycling scheme locally, let us know about your environmental good practice in your community.

There are many day-to-day routes to helping the environment by reducing carbon emissions, reducing energy costs and saving money. Recycling and re-using might be the most obvious – and very positive - ways and can be the easiest to adopt.  Gas, electricity and water savings are also achievable.
