We are looking for a Trustee to join our Board of Trustees here at Community Action Norfolk.
As a Trustee, you will ensure that the Board meets its legal and statutory responsibilities in fulfilling the charitable objectives of Community Action Norfolk. This is a strategic role, providing direction and guidance to our Chief Executive and his management team, holding them to account against annual budgets and plans that you will be a part of developing, making sure that the organisations does what it said it would do, and keeping it sustainable. You will need to be able to commit to at least 4 formal Board meetings a year (currently weekday daytime) and share your skills of challenge, constructive criticism and scrutiny, as well as sharing your experience, wisdom and connections. We will want to see you bring fresh ideas and fresh perspectives to help shape our future plans, whilst recognising and supporting existing good practice.
