The Fundraising Regulator has been established following the Etherington review of fundraising self-regulation in 2015, as the independent regulator of charitable fundraising. It aims to set the standards from fundraising, investigate cases where there are concerns, adjudicate complaints from the public and recommend best practice in cases where there has been poor fundraising practice.
Charities and other fundraising organisations are invited to register with the Fundraising Regulator to demonstrate their commitment to Code of Fundraising Good Practice, in autumn.
