Meet Alton,

Alton Nutile is the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for Community Action Norfolk and has been a member of our Board since 2019.

"I became a trustee of Community Action Norfolk in 2018, driven partly by my desire to expand my skillset and knowledge for my own career, but mostly by my wish to help in the communities in which I live and work. I have a background in finance in banking, real estate, insurance and professional services, and becoming a trustee gave me insight into governance, collaboration and decision-making that I wouldn't have got elsewhere. Now, I use the connections I've made in my main role to advance the causes of Community Action Norfolk, for the betterment of the charity's employees, stakeholders and the wider community alike." Fun Facts:

• Alton has dual nationality being of both British and Italian descent.
• Alton has three children that keep him acting young but feeling old.
• He previously volunteered as a Special Constable (a volunteer police officer) of the Norfolk Constabulary which again significantly bolstered his communication and teamworking skills.
