Migration - real concerns local people have

People in control of their lives. 

Immigration

(incoming) migration. V emotive. A key concern both national and locally. For the VCS this presents a challenge in terms of how to meet migrant community needs while addressing concerns and community tensions. 

Boredom - lack of provision for young people

...drugs and alcohol, anti-social behaviour, not being valued in their community

Older people, loneliness and social isolation

...including lack of support to access local community facilities, to have a meaningful part in the community
