A chance for you to meet our Team, and put faces to names.

Meet Michelle,

Michelle is our Project Officer (Networks and Funding). Michelle joined the CAN team in July 2026 taking the lead on our Talking About Cancer Together (TACT) Project.  The Talking About Cancer Together (TACT) Project has been funded by Macmillan Cancer Support since April 2023, with the aim of connecting with local communities and organisations across Norfolk to help raise awareness of the support available for people affected by cancer.

Working alongside the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector, bringing people together, sharing information, and helping organisations learn from one another, strengthening partnerships, and making it easier for people to access the support they need.

Michelle has many years of experience working alongside children, young people, families, and communities across Norfolk, and is passionate about bringing people and organisations together, building trusted relationships and making sure that everyone feels heard, included and able to access the support they need.

She loves getting out into the community, meeting people face-to-face and discovering the strengths, ideas and connections that already exist locally, she believes that some of the most meaningful changes begin with a friendly conversation, a good cuppa and people working together.

Some fun facts about Michelle:

  • Michelle loves getting outdoors for a walk with her dog , it's where she says she does some of her best thinking.
  • The Norfolk coastline is her happy place, and you'll often find her there whenever she gets the chance.
  • She enjoys bringing people together, whether through community projects or over a cuppa (usually with her favourite mug in hand).
  • And here's a little secret: Michelle loves a fancy-dress party and never says no to a bit of glitter and glam.
