On 1st April 2015, Community Action Norfolk (CAN) was formed through the merger of Norfolk Rural Community Council and West Norfolk Voluntary Community Action, combining their expertise to strengthen support for Norfolk’s voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.
This milestone is a chance to reflect on our journey, impact, and the communities we continue to serve. The graphic below highlights key moments from the past decade, but our story began long before 2015. Our roots trace back over 40 years to the days of Norfolk Rural Community Council (Norfolk RCC)!
