Access Community Trust have provided valued spaces of support and connection for local people, and we recognise that this news will be unsettling for individuals who relied on them, as well as for the staff and volunteers affected.
Our thoughts are with everyone impacted at this difficult time.
As the county’s rural community development charity, CAN works closely with voluntary and community organisations across Norfolk to strengthen local support networks. While we do not directly deliver frontline mental health services, we are committed to helping communities navigate change and connect with appropriate provision. We are in contact with partners across the sector and will share relevant updates as they become available.
For those seeking mental health and wellbeing support, services continue to be available locally through Norfolk and Waveney Mind, which provides a range of options including drop-in support, recovery workers based in GP surgeries, employment support programmes, crisis triage and wellbeing activities across the region.
If you or someone you know needs urgent mental health support, please contact NHS 111 and select Option 2, or call Samaritans on 116 123.
Community Action Norfolk remains committed to supporting resilient, well-connected communities. If your organisation or community group has been affected by these changes and would welcome guidance, please do get in touch with our team.
