Community Action Norfolk’s team are working remotely, please bear with us if there is a delay in responding.  We are focusing most of our activity on the countywide response to the Covid-19 pandemic.  Therefore most normal activities and meetings have been cancelled.  We continue to monitor the situation very carefully and will update this page with changes.

Covid-19 related queries and support requests should be emailed to covid@communityactionnorfolk.org.uk

Please read our Norfolk VCSE Covid-19 response here - which contains information and advice around maintaining your services, communications, volunteers, safeguarding, homeworking and scams.  Organisations in need of additional support are encouraged to contact us on the email address above.

Following an initial meeting on 17th March 2020 Voluntary Sector leaders and partners continue to discuss and agree actions to support local organisations and communities in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Community Action Norfolk, Norfolk Community Foundation, Voluntary Norfolk and Momentum are coordinating a response.  This includes a centralised point to register volunteers (click here) and manage support requests, whilst working closely with existing organisations to make sure they have the tools they need to respond.

We have also launched a funding call, asking for public donations, to try to ensure our local organisations can keep going over this difficult time - www.norfolkfoundation.com/giving-philanthropy/covid19communityresponsefund/

It is fantastic to see the level of community response, but it is important to remember this will be a long-term effort.  We know many of you want to get started now but we ask you to please be patient.  In the meantime, below are some links to some general information but most importantly please stay safe and well.

Official advice to the Public from NHS England is here

We are maintaining a page of general guidance for VCSE organisations here

We have put together a page of information on organisation contingency planning here
