CANConnect grants have been awarded to community groups who are able to demonstrate a positive contribution to improving social engagement in their locality. Wells-next-the-Sea Men’s Shed put their grant to good use in buying their ‘shed’.
People sometimes get a little nervous about switching energy providers – even with the prospect of making considerable savings on their electricity and gas bills. In King’s Lynn and across West Norfolk, the Borough Council in partnership with CAN offers a collective scheme which takes the worry out of choosing the right provider.

Did you know that Volunteering can be local, flexible and fit around your life?
CAN is working in partnership with Merchant’s Place Volunteer Hub on a 'Volunteer Boost Project' to increase the numbers of volunteers that get involved with local community projects in North Norfolk, particularly the CAN Connect Project and Good Neighbour Schemes.
Inspired by the Jo Cox Loneliness Campaign a new initiative will be helping pub owners, operators, local authorities and rural community groups look at the pub’s role in providing social spaces.
