Bereavement in the time of COVID-19

Dealing with bereavement is never easy. It’s even harder during this difficult period, with separation from loved ones at the most crucial time. Norfolk County Council, together with the Working Together partnership, is offering a 30-minute wellbeing telephone support call to anyone registering a death.

VCSE groups adapting to service delivery during COVID-19

We know that many voluntary and community groups are experiencing severe operating constraints currently, not least the inability to engage directly with clients and service users. One of the great characteristics of the VCSE sector, however, is the ability to adapt and improvise to meet the need. 

New Anglia LEP temporary jobs listings

New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership has created a temporary jobs page to help organisations operate effetcively during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Community coronavirus testing in Norfolk and Waveney now available to “key workers” (and/or household members with symptoms).

The NHS in Norfolk and Waveney is offering local coronavirus tests to key workers* such as teachers or food industry staff, to help them remain in work and continue to support their communities. This also applies to members of their household who may have coronavirus symptoms causing the key worker to self-isolate.

A new system has been put in place for frontline charities and organisations to access PPE (Personal protective Equipment) should their supplies run critically short.

Healthwatch Norfolk public engagement survey

Healthwatch Norfolk have  launched a public survey which asks participants broadly about their experience of accessing information, care and support during the COVID-19 outbreak.

We would appreciate your help in completing two key surveys, one or both of which may be relevant to your work scenario:

One survey helps us assess how the county’s voluntary, community and social enetrprise groups and organsiations are coping. The other is aimed specifically at community buildings and village halls.
