A busy world can be the loneliest place. And in a county of nearly 860,000 residents across 2,000 square miles it’s an everyday scenario for many people.
The five CCGs in Norfolk and Waveney have decided to appoint a single Accountable Officer and create one ‘joint executive team’ structure for Norfolk and Waveney. A proposal to formally approve this will be made to each of the CCG’s Governing Bodies when they meet in public in November.
Julie Cave, Managing Director at NSFT, is going to be seconded to work with the STP (Sustainable Transformation Partnership) as the Interim Chief Operating Officer. Julie has nearly 30 years’ experience working across the NHS and has significant senior financial and operational expertise, including having worked at both the NNUH (Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital) and JPUH (James Paget University Hospital).

As an important provider of health and wellbeing services, it is vital that the VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) sector works with the Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) in the strategic planning and delivery of these services, to achieve positive outcomes for the children, young people and adults of Norfolk.
