Norfolk County Council's Children's Centre Briefing - Details of Vision and Providers available

At the beginning of 2016 contract extensions were signed with the current providers for a further 3 years, with an option to extend for an additional year. A refreshed service specification focusses on achieving outcomes for children and families, with an emphasis on working with partners from the statutory, voluntary and community sectors (the list of Children’s Centres and providers is attached in the full article).

Helpline for Child Abuse Whistleblowing

Employees and volunteers from any sector that have concerns about how their organisation is dealing with cases of child abuse are able to report their concerns to a helpline serviced by the NSPCC.

Save the Dates - VCSE & NCC Re-imagining Norfolk

Community Action Norfolk and Momentum (Norfolk) are working with Norfolk County Council to ensure the Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector effectively engage in Norfolk County Council's Re-imagining programme and budget proposals. We will be publishing more details shortly but in the meantime please put these dates in your diary.

Trimingham Log Cabin Youth and Community Resource Centre Open Days

Trimingham Log Cabin Youth and Community Resource Centre is a new refurbished facility in North Norfolk. The Kearns Foundation will be holding two open days where there will be a chance to win two free nights accommodation at the Log Cabin Youth and Community Resource Centre:

  •  Fri 2nd October from 10.00am - 2.00pm
  • Sat 7th November from 10.00am - 4.00pm
