Fast broadband needed? There’s a 21st century answer right here in Norfolk

Around 92% of locations across Norfolk can receive fast broadband. That’s around 24 Mbps. And Better Broadband for Norfolk is working hard to increase that figure. You can check broadband availability in your area at  www.betterbroadbandnorfolk.co.uk.  That’s if you can get broadband in the first place of course…

New service: Stronger Families Service for Families in Need

In September 2018, Norfolk County Council Children’s Services launched a consultation on a new Early Childhood and Family Service. There were 1,576 responses to the consultation received, with 1,401 responses from residents and 175 from respondents affiliated with organisations.

Breaking Barriers - support for children and young people with familiy members in prison

Breaking Barriers is a free service that supports children of offenders through one-to-one sessions to break down some of the barriers that may prevent them from engaging with school or family, and from maintaining positive ties (as appropriate) with their imprisoned family member.
