Commute could soon count as working time for mobile workers

The Advocate General of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) has given his opinion on what constitutes 'working time' for mobile workers under the Working Time Directive. According to him, if workers travel from home to a variety of different locations to carry out their duties, the time spent travelling to the first and from the last assignments of the day should count as working time.

Stronger Together - Conference Papers

Thank you to everyone who attended the ‘Stronger Together’ VCSE Conference on the 7th July. Feedback has proved to be highly positive, with 98% of delegates saying they would attend a similar event and 94% rating the day as good or excellent.

Funding and Free Training for Health Charities

Sector Led Plan Published

We are pleased to publish today the Sector-Led Plan for Norfolk’s Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector. The consultation draft is available to download below

The plan marks the end of six months of engagement with voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations across Norfolk. This has included workshops and one to one interviews with 200 sector representatives, 300 survey respondents and drawn on a wide range of data to get a strong understanding of the sector, it’s priorities and concerns.

Nominations Norfolk VCSE Sector Leadership Group

The attachment below  contains the people who have been nominated for the elected roles to the VCSE sector leadership group. The election will take place at 1600 on Tuesday 7th July at the Kings Centre, Norwich. This session is open and free to all VCSE organisations. NHS Health Advocacy

If you are unhappy with the service you have received from the NHS, the NHS Complaints Advocacy Service can help. The complaints process is a way of helping you resolve issues you have faced, and is also important in helping us improve the NHS care in Norfolk.
