Introduction to Safeguarding Adults
This two hour session provides an opportunity for West Norfolk organisations to learn about:
- What constitutes an adult at risk
- What is meant by abuse and neglect
- Recognising the signs of abuse
- Understanding your duty of care to adults at risk
- Key principles to assess whether someone has capacity to make their own decisions
