FREE On-line Zoom session – Thursday 13th May 2021 - 10 to 11.30am

Does your community group offer telephone befriending support to your neighbours or are you thinking about doing so?  Join Tracey and Jackie from Community Action Norfolk in this free session to explore the sorts of things your group may want to consider when you are supporting people with telephone befriending.

In this interactive hour and a half session we will touch on;

  • the benefits of befriending support
  • the kinds of skills needed
  • boundaries
  • welfare and wellbeing
  • getting more from the conversations
  • asking questions and developing listening skills
  • safeguarding
