The Norfolk Library Service plays a crucial role in supporting communities across Norfolk. Operating 47 branch libraries and five mobile library vans, the service ensures that even those in remote areas have access to its offerings, including a strong digital presence.
This service provides free access to books, spaces, Wi-Fi, and PCs, along with diverse activities and business advice through its library-based Business Centres. It also offers tailored support such as language sessions, winter assistance, and community groups.
Since the last library strategy was developed in 2020, the landscape has changed significantly, particularly in how people use libraries post-Covid. With the development of new library and community hubs in Great Yarmouth and King’s Lynn, and evolving community needs, Norfolk Library Service is planning for the future.
To shape the new Library Strategy, which will guide the service for the next 5-10 years, and the Community Strategy, aimed at building resilient communities, your input is vital. Please consider participating in this survey to shape the new Library Strategy.
This survey closes on Friday, 27th September.
