This role will play a part in our mission to support young people in Norfolk by providing 1:1 counselling sessions for young people.
Applicants must have a recognised qualification in counselling, and be accredited, or eligible for accreditation, by the BACP, UKCP, or an equivalent body. Some experience of working with young people is essential.
This role involves delivering one to one and group psycho-educational interventions to young people. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with young people with mental health problems and experience of delivering individual psycho-social interventions.
This role works on our Youth Advisory Boards (YAB). Our participation youth workers work alongside young people on campaigns, lobbying and youth involvement that promotes young people’s views, creates social change and ensures the voice of young people is heard in decision making. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting young people to take action and will have experience of working with young people, networking, community organising, campaigning, lobbying and social movements.
