The Costume & Textile Association is looking for a new Treasurer.

This is a rewarding voluntary role as a Trustee of the C&TA - an independent charity promoting the unique and rich heritage of Norwich and Norfolk’s historical costume and textile industries which brought great wealth and prestige to the city between the twelfth and eighteenth centuries.

The C&TA raises funds through a lively programme of events and activities in order to enrich and expand the unique costume and textile collection of the Norfolk Museums Service and award bursaries and prizes to promote scholarly research. They also work collaboratively with many heritage, craft and educational organisations to keep alive the skills and traditions of the textile industry today and showcase the work of contemporary crafts people whose inspiration comes from this rich local heritage.

The Treasurer’s role is a worthwhile and interesting job, and vital to the future of the association.  Please email to set up an informal chat to find out more about what is involved.
