CAN Connect

The Can Connect service is led by CommunitY Action Norfolk and is part of a raneg of services accross Norfolk aimed at reducing lonliness and isolation. The services can help individuals connect with people and activities in their commmunity as well as provide a range of support to help them achieve their goals. The service can also provide support for the community itself. Helping organisations and people make the places we live, stronger, friendlier and more resilient.

Community Led Housing is commonly used to describe homes that are developed and/or managed by local people or residents, in not for profit organisational structures. There are a range of models that can be adopted including self-help housing, Co-housing, co-operatives and tenant controlled housing, Community Land Trusts (CLTs).
