Julie Cave, Managing Director at NSFT, is going to be seconded to work with the STP (Sustainable Transformation Partnership) as the Interim Chief Operating Officer. Julie has nearly 30 years’ experience working across the NHS and has significant senior financial and operational expertise, including having worked at both the NNUH (Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital) and JPUH (James Paget University Hospital).

Julie has a strong track record of delivering high quality, efficient and effective services in large, complex environments. With her partnership approach and understanding of systems thinking, she will be a real asset to the partnership.

As our Interim Chief Operating Officer, Julie will oversee STP delivery and operations, ensuring a robust and faster paced approach to workstreams, transformation, system performance and associated strategic reviews. Her secondment begins in early December.

Her appointment will provide the STP with some additional capacity which is needed at the moment as they further develop their partnership and move towards becoming an integrated care system (ICS). They will review all of the STP posts, and the additional STP responsibilities which colleagues from across the partnership have taken on, as they become an ICS and the new CCG management structure is developed and put in place.
