Working in partnership with other organisations brings additional expertise and specialist knowledge to your project. It can help you reach groups you may not otherwise reach and provide a broader range of services which better address people’s needs. A more coordinated or comprehensive service will also lead to a better outcome for the people or groups you are working with. Partnership benefits all the organisations involved by making best use of skills and available resources.

Funders are increasingly encouraging groups to work in partnership, sometimes even making it an explicit condition of funding.

Partner Exchange, part of the wider VCS Engage programme, exists to help build contacts across the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector and beyond. We can put groups in touch with one another, or help you find the appropriate contact at the County Council or in the private sector, to enable more partnership working.

How it works:

  • You contact us with an idea
  • We identify potential partners and put you in touch
  • We can help you develop project ideas and access funding
  • It’s as simple as that!

If you want help finding out about potential partners or would like to discuss this, please get in touch.
