A chance for you to meet our Team, and put faces to names.

Meet Susanne,

Susanne is a Community and Voluntary Sector Co-ordinator.

  • Susanne works with the Supported Care Service in North and South Norfolk. The team supports people who have been discharged from hospital but who still have medical conditions and those who are referred to the service to avoid hospital admittance.  She finds solutions in the voluntary and community sector, such as Good Neighbour Schemes, that can help people to stay independent and improve their wellbeing.
  • As well as finding support for patients, who are often elderly, Susanne is working with numerous local voluntary and community organisations, in the area to build up an extensive knowledge of their services, identify gaps and explore ways to develop and extend their services.  These include, for example, community meals, transport and befriending.
  • Susanne is currently working on a project for Macmillan to understand the services and support available for those affected by cancer in their local community.
